Faculty Salary Data Comparisons
Chronicle of Higher Education Faculty Salary Database
The Chronicle of Higher Education has published an interactive tool that provides information about individual colleges and universities using data from the AAUP faculty salary survey and IPEDS. Some of the data available from this site are average faculty salaries by institution and rank, number of faculty, enrollment, and student-faculty ratio. While these data are available from other sources, the Chronicle of Higher Education makes the current year faculty salary data available earlier than most others.
NASULGC Faculty Salary Comparison Reports
Each year UNM participates in Oklahoma State University’s faculty instructional salary survey by discipline. This is open to institutions belonging to the National Association of State Universities and Land Grant Colleges (NASULGC). As a result, our office generates two reports, one comparing our faculty by rank and discipline or department to our HED peer institutions and one to all of the institutions who participated at the national level. Summaries are also provided at the college and university level.
